Genre

I am going to talk about my horror film opening I had created and evaluate it in relation to the media concept of genre. Genre is a 'kind' or 'type' and is used to group things together. All though single genres include horror, action and romance, genre is not fixed and can include hybrids for example sci-fi thriller or comedy-horror. Stated by Chandler "It is difficult to make clear cut distinctions between one genre and another. Genres overlap, and their are mixed genres such as comedy thrillers.
